1.5 Star primitive site facilities

Ladies, this is primitive! The only reason the "facilities" get a star and a half is that there is a port-a-pot right at the site. There is a spigot but the water must be filtered or boiled as it is not potable and you have to prime the pump. There is also no electricity. You can keep your car on site which is nice and it's breezy because it's on the intercoastal waterway. Faver Dikes is just a short drive and you can rent canoes :-). This site however is FULL of TICKS. I don't go off trail into the woods or play in moss like the scouts and I had 3 when I got home so have a loved one check you everywhere as sometimes they hide in places you cannot see yourself.
