This camp is owned and run by the BSA. The amphitheatre has a bridge perfect for amazing crossover ceremonies from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. The facilities however are not well maintained or cleaned. There is a small bench in the ladies shower as well as one in the bathroom for setting clothing and toiletry items on. The one in the shower has critter nests under it. These critters are large and not my friends. There is hot water and a sink with a mirror above it. It can also be quite a walk to the facilities and they can get quite crowded. There really aren't enough, if the camp is full. It is a nice inexpensive place to camp with scouts though and there is a nice covered outdoor kitchen in the WW Gay site but that one has to be booked quite a ways out from the time you want to go.
With proper trained staff in your group, you can reserve the pool which is nice and has a diving board. There are lots of other great activities too such as fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, climbing, and a COPE course. There is also a BB and archery range. Again your group must provide properly trained staff for many of these activities unless you are attending a BSA sponsored day time event there.
