Tomoka Florida State Park- family sites

You don't want to miss this place ladies. Not only is it a great campground with all kinds of ocean and water activities available, but the facilities are top notch. The bathroom and shower center has a washer and dryer available in the open air hallway. The facilities are kept very clean by a nice elderly couple that lives there. There is hot water and electricity in the bathrooms. I think there are benches outside the shower stalls and I know there are counters around the sinks where you can set your things. There is also electricity, bbqs, and counter height spigots at each family site. There is all kinds of fresh and salt water wildlife around, my kids were catching crabs and shrimp like crazy. They rent canoes and the fishing is great :-). The public beach is just over the bridge and is nice with showers for rinsing right there before getting back in your car. Family sites are leveled and it's decently shaded. The ranger did a trapper presentation with visuals to teach history to the scouts. It was great. I hope to return soon :-).
